Auto correct wanted to make Hakurei haiku, so I will write a haiku to my crop share creations.




Hakurei turnips!
Add sugar, butter and salt
Heaven in my mouth!

CSA Year 2 begins!

My first delivery of crops contained (among other things) a bag of vitamin greens and a bunch of red scallions... As featured below

My goal is to not have to throw away any veggies this year! So onto the challenge of cooking and eating through all of the veggies that I get each week! Wish me luck!!

Simulcast of Carmen = incredible! I think I may have even prefered watching the opera outdoors to actually being in the academy... Even with the rain!

Ratatouille for days

When you get eggplant, tomatoes, bell peppers, red onions, garlic, basil and parsley in a crop share, what do you make? Ratatouille of course!









This is taking about as long to cook as it will for me to eat so hopefully it tastes good!!
